Audun Amundsen's gripping documentary Click the Link Below is to receive its world premiere at this year’s DocEdge festival. Being among the finalists for this year's Doc Edge Awards, the documentary pulls back the curtain on the world of online marketing, an industry built on hype, hustle and heartbreak.

DocEdge kicks off on 25 June in Auckland, New Zealand, before heading to Wellington and Christchurch, then will go online in The Virtual Cinema (28 July - 24 August).

Click the Link Below is a filmmaker’s journey down the rabbit hole of online marketing. What begins as a quest for success becomes a raw exploration of ambition, authenticity and the cost of selling-out in an algorithm-driven world. It's about the peculiar scene of gurus making millions online.

Amundsen will attend his film's festival screenings in Auckland (12-13 July), Wellington (17 July) and Christchurch (19 July), and is available for interviews before* and during the festival. (see below)

About the director: Audun Amundsen is an award-winning Norwegian Documentary filmmaker and an online marketing consultant at GonzoDocs. His films Newtopia and Help, I’ve gone Viral! have screened at major festivals, won awards for best documentary and sold to TV channels and platforms worldwide. Amundsen is renowned for delving into immersive long-term projects crafting engaging participatory documentaries. He is dedicated to exploring the facets of human nature and future prospects, all aimed at fostering greater awareness and positive change.

About the characters: The film features an extraordinary line-up of experts such as marketeers, psychologists and professors, all at the top of their fields. With a combined audience of millions - many of them are making their feature documentary debut - they bring their insights to the screen for the very first time. In addition to Akbar Sheikh, the list includes such names as Tai Lopez, Russell Brunson, Mike Winnet, Dan Henry, Gretchen Rubin, Lauren Tickner, Alex Partridge and Robert Waldinger.
