International sales and aggregation house LevelK has boarded Frederike Migom’s Everyone’s Sorry Nowadays, a tender and imaginative story about discovery, dreams and claiming your own space. The film will celebrate its world premiere in the Generation K+ selection at this year’s Berlinale.

Halkawt Mustafa’s No Paradise If You Are Killed by a Woman, starring Avan Jamal and Thorbjørn Harr, has been selected as Iraq’s official submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature. The announcement lands just days before the Norwegian-Iraqi co-production makes its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, screening in the Venice Open/Out of Competition programme.
